We’re accredited by the British Council to teach English

The British Council’s globally recognised scheme is a mark of quality assurance for international students who are taking or are planning to take an English language course in the UK. The British Council inspects us every four years to ensure we meet their standards in management, teaching resources and environment, teaching quality, student welfare, and care of under-18s. We were reaccredited in 2022.

We’re here to support your transition to university study

King's Foundations supports you from the moment you accept your offer until you graduate and beyond. This includes a guarantee of accommodation in a King’s Residence for the duration of your foundation on-campus learning, provided that you apply by the specified deadlines, and a special policy for under-18s. As a King’s International Foundation Programme student you will also benefit from additional support throughout the year-long programme from a dedicated Student Experience Team, a Personal Tutor and a Wellbeing Advisor.

We teach at our Strand campus

All of our teaching takes place at our Strand campus, whether that’s language tuition happening in Bush House or module teaching across our other buildings. We don’t ship international students to a satellite campus. When you join a King's Foundations programme, you'll become a King's student from your very first day and will integrate into campus life.
