Intern Insider with LiveLink AI

Reet Chouhan

MSc Digital Marketing student (King's Business School)

08 August 2024

Hi, my name is Reet Chouhan. I am currently pursuing an MSc in Digital Marketing at King's College London and will graduate very soon. This summer, I have been working as a Content Writer with LiveLink AI, an innovative company that uses AI to turn long form videos into short viral clips.

Why did you apply for an internship with LiveLink AI?

The role perfectly aligns with my career aspirations in marketing. The hands-on experience in a venture focused on AI complements my academic interests, particularly as my dissertation is on "The Dark Side of AI." This opportunity allows me to directly engage with the practical applications and implications of AI in marketing, providing invaluable insights that support both my career goals and academic studies.

What does a typical working day look like for you?

A typical working day is both dynamic and enriching. I start my day with a team meeting where we discuss our tasks and objectives for the day. My responsibilities vary widely, from working on SEO strategies to managing influencer marketing campaigns. This variety keeps me engaged and constantly learning. Throughout the day, I collaborate with different team members, contributing to projects that are critical to our marketing strategy.

What is the most valuable thing you’ve learnt so far?

My manager, Damien Baxter emphasised the importance of believing in what I am doing and having confidence in my decisions. He encouraged me to embrace mistakes as learning opportunities. This lesson has significantly boosted my confidence and trust in my own judgment, allowing me to grow both professionally and personally.

Which of the Seven Skills of an Entrepreneurial Mindset have you utilised most during your journey?

During my internship, I have utilised several skills from the Entrepreneurial Mindset framework, particularly Validate, Think Lean, and Commit to Growth. I consistently validate ideas by seeking feedback and testing them against real-world scenarios. Thinking lean has helped me focus on efficient, value-driven strategies. Committing to growth has been a continuous process of seeking improvement and embracing new challenges.
