The aim of this one-day event is to disseminate research findings from the DeMoStroke project to relevant research communities, stakeholders, and the general public. It will also serve as a forum to promote transdisciplinary interactions between communities with different backgrounds such as microwave engineers, imaging scientists, medical industry experts, clinicians, and health policymakers.

The DeMoStroke research project is a collaborative, multidisciplinary project by the Department of Informatics at King’s College London and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, with industrial partners from the UK (MediWise Ltd) and China (ET Medical). The project is combining expertise by the project partners towards the development of a portable and low-cost system which can detect the occurrence, and monitor the evolution of stroke and its treatment using microwave technology.
