Christopher Sullivan is Associate Professor of Political Science at Louisiana State University as well as a Strategy and Policy Fellow at the Smith Richardson Foundation. His interdisciplinary research contributes to the fields of world politics, political sociology, and subnational comparative politics.
He received his PhD (with distinction) in Political Science from the University of Michigan (2014). Previously, he completed a Predoc at Yale’s Program on Order, Conflict, and Violence and a Postdoc at NYU’s Center for Human Rights and Global Justice.
Christopher's published research appears in Nature Human Behaviour, World Politics, The Journal of Politics, The Journal of Conflict Resolution, The Journal of Peace Research, Mobilization, International Interactions, Conflict Management and Peace Science, and PS: Political Science and Politics. Major funding for his research is provided by the National Science Foundation, the Smith Richardson Foundation, and the Social Science Research Council.
