In this seminar, King’s College London Senior Lecturer in Security and Development, Dr Domitilla Sargamoso will host two prominent Ukrainian researchers of the Russian information influence in Ukraine. Oleksandra Tsekhanovska and Lesia Bidochko will examine key narratives of Russian propaganda targeting the occupied territories of Ukraine, the networks involved in the Russian malign information influence and what is the role of information operations at the previous and current stages of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Oleksandra Tsekhanovska, Ukraine-focused project lead at Centre for Information Resilience (https://www.info-res.org). Information security expert with more than 5 years of experience in monitoring, analysing and deconstructing Russian disinformation. Former head of the Hybrid Warfare Analytical Group at Ukraine Crisis Media Centre, Strategic Communications Programme at King’s College London alumna.
Lesia Bidochko is Deputy Head of the Detector Media Research Centre (https://en.detector.media), GCE St. Gallen Research Fellow, New Europe College, Bucharest, and a senior lecturer at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy
