German Translation Workshop - 8th May - 11am-1pm
If you’re studying German A level, we’d love to invite you to our creative translation workshop, designed especially to support your studies and bring German to life in new and exciting ways.
Date: Thursday 8 May 2025
Time: 11am – 1pm
Location: King’s College London, Virginia Woolf Building, 22 Kingsway, London WC2B 6LE
This fun, hands-on session will get you thinking about language in totally new ways! You’ll be working with award-winning author Kathrin Tordasi and writer-director Hazel Gould, alongside Dr Sarah Bowden from our Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures.
Part of a UKRI-funded research project, the workshop will explore creative translation techniques and offer a fresh perspective on German.
Just to note: this isn’t an open day or taster session. This workshop is designed especially for A level German students, giving you the chance to build on your skills – all in a relaxed, supportive setting.
