This year, the UK Deterrence and Assurance Academic Alliance (DAAA) is pleased to announce that it will hold its annual conference in partnership with the Defence Nuclear Organisation and King’s College London.

The conference will focus on the challenges and implications of the current deterrence and escalation landscape.

Over two days, experts in the field will take part in various panel sessions on the following topics:

  • The UK Government perspective
  • Strategic culture in theory and in practice
  • Brinkmanship and strategic stability
  • Deterrence methods
  • Space and cyber considerations
  • Deterrence and civil society
