Join us for the launch of 'The World Made Me', a new video series from the School of Global Affairs.

The World Made Me explores just what it was that inspired, drove, pushed, or cajoled researchers into their chosen careers.

Academics from the School of Global Affairs share what set them on their journeys from those first formative experiences, through the ups and downs of studying and research to their place today as some of the leading experts in their fields.

They lift the lid on the inciting incidents, chance encounters, and inspirational findings that propelled them from curious teens to fully fledged academics.

At the launch event, watch sneak previews of the videos and hear first hand from our academics as they discuss their career paths and share tips for anyone toying with the idea of becoming a researcher.

Join us for an informal chat, video previews and a chance to network with peers and academics at the drinks reception.
