Over the last decade, the government has invested substantially in increasing the number of rigorous impact evaluations, and especially randomised controlled trials, which are conducted across a wide variety of policy domains.
In 2012, the Cabinet Office published Test, Learn, Adapt, which provided a basic introduction to Randomised Trials in Policy, and the key concepts to consider.
Now, we're publishing the Ochre Book, a more detailed, technical guide to randomised trials, in all their varieties.
At this event, we'll be launching the new book, and discussing the future of the evidence-based policy approach in the UK.
