An event for anyone commissioning, managing or working in adult social care or in multi-disciplinary services for people experiencing homelessness.
This event will share the findings from an NIHR School for Social Care Research (SSCR) funded project which has been Evidencing the social work role within responses to multiple exclusion homelessness.
It has explored the added value that an embedded social worker within a homelessness setting may bring to responses to homelessness, including the experiences, impact and support needs of the role and the system barriers that need to be overcome.
This event is led by Jess Harris, Research Fellow, HSCWRU, King's College London, who is also carrying out allied research into the role of social work education in relation to working this group.
The event, which takes place on MS Teams only, is part of our Homelessness series.
