08Apr6 people with a tree in the middle

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE WORKSHOPS ARE BY INVITATION ONLY.

This series of workshops brings together practitioners and community organisations to support the development a toolkit that is being designed to support regional and local public health teams to tailor messages for diverse communities during communicable disease outbreaks.

This toolkit is based on research that has been conducted by King’s College London and Birmingham City University in partnership with the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), initially funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), as part of UK Research and Innovation’s rapid response to Covid-19 and subsequently by the NIHR under the auspices of the Health Protection Research Unit in Emergency Preparedness and Response at King’s College London.

The purpose of these workshops is to bring together key stakeholders from UKHSA, NHS, local authorities and community organisations to present key project findings and discuss the draft toolkit to ensure that it is relevant and useful.
