This initiative is a joint effort by the Faculty of Social Science and Public Policy, King's Business School, the Dickson Poon School of Law, and the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences

We are excited to host a new series of cross-Faculty workshops, designed to enhance the impact of King's research through collaboration and the sharing of best practices.

Key objectives of this series include:

  • Strengthening Cross-Faculty Collaboration: Many of the most pressing societal challenges require expertise across disciplines. This event provides a structured opportunity for researchers to connect, exchange ideas, and explore potential joint projects.

  • Enhancing External Engagement: The afternoon session will bring together researchers and external partners to discuss ways to ensure that our research informs real-world decision-making and drives meaningful change.

  • Funding Collaborations: Selected funds will be available to support new cross-faculty collaborations that emerge from the workshop, reinforcing our commitment to interdisciplinary impact.

Given the increasing emphasis on research impact in funding applications, REF, and our broader institutional strategy, this event represents a valuable opportunity for Faculties to further embed impact into our research culture while strengthening ties with other parts of the College and external stakeholders.

This event series is generously funded by the King's Research Culture Team.
