King’s Culture is inviting new students to come together and create what they think the future of the city will look like as part of the Welcome Week programme.
Using VR technology, you can paint in 3D with the Bush House Arcade or Science Gallery London as your canvas. Instructors will be on hand to show you how to create your collaborative artworks throughout the day.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, in the Bush House Arcade, there will also be an opportunity to use your voice, and become part of a historic sound project living on the newly pedestrianised Strand Aldwych. Come and join the Voiceline - record your hopes, dreams and ambitions for the future for a chance to be featured in a major soundscape by sound artist Nick Ryan.
King’s Culture is running a wide range of projects throughout the year, bringing together partnerships and collaborations, staff and students to engage with the arts in many different ways. Come and learn about what you can look forward to, and how you can get involved.
Activities will take place in the Bush House Arcade from 10am-4pm on 20 and 21 September and in Science Gallery London on 22 September.
There is no need to book, just drop in.
