Populists are on the rise - in Germany and across many European countries. But what strategies do they use? What makes them so successful? And how can they be effectively countered?

These questions will be discussed by political scientist Marcel Lewandowsky, author of Was Populisten wollen (What Populists Want). This event is organised by Lisa Anders and Isabelle Hertner with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The discussion will be chaired by Claire Burchett.
