King's College London are delighted to invite you to a two-day workshop discussing the theme “Gender and Heterogeneity in Political Economy”.
The issue of gender equality is much debated in the world of politics, business and society at large - from concerns about female representation in parliaments to arguments on the benefits of gender quotas to wider societal issues of discrimination. At their core, all of these are political issues.
This workshop brings together top economists from the fields of political economy and gender economics to consider gender issues in politics, business and decision-making. Over two days, participants will present their current research, discuss implications for policy, and identify the key questions that remain.
