About One King's Impact

One King’s Impact is the University’s integrated approach to uniting our assets and expertise to actively address urgent and deep-rooted global issues. In 2022, a University-wide consultation determined five King’s Impact Priorities that represent urgent global issues where we have the expertise, skills and knowledge to deliver meaningful and lasting change.

The King’s Impact Priorities:

The One King’s Impact approach fosters connections and collaborations, and cultivates an environment where students, staff and partners receive integrated support to achieve tangible impact across research, education and service, including financial support through the One King’s Impact Fund.

The One King’s Impact Fund Round Two is now open for applications until with a closing date of 3 March 2025. The Fund is open to staff (academic and PS), students, alumni and partners delivering new initiatives or scaling existing projects across research, education and service that align with the King's Impact Priorities. Teams will work together to jointly identify a challenge as well as co-design and co-deliver the project, with a focus on multidisciplinary working and engagement across and beyond King’s, with the crucial emphasis of service (alongside research and education) being a powerful pathway to Impact.
