Navigating the ‘Grey Area’: Developing Critical AI Literacy in Student Assessments

Strand Campus, London

Join us for this workshop exploring the ‘grey area’ of AI use in student assessments, focusing on both its potential and the uncertainties that remain for students and staff.

In this workshop you’ll engage first-hand in an AI-assisted blog writing activity, designed to develop students’ critical analysis and reflection skills on the use of AI in assignments, helping them navigate the complexities of AI-assisted academic work.

This workshop will combine practical engagement with discussions on the evolving role of AI in education. It will provide space to unpack the complexities of AI in education, offering practical insights and raising key questions for future practice.

You do not need any prior knowledge of AI to enjoy this event. It will be particularly relevant to educators, students, academic developers and policymakers interested in integrating AI into assessment and teaching.

Register on Eventbrite.
