Mindfulness with Jenny - Online

Online

09AprWhite Spring blossom on branches against a blue sky

You don’t need any prior knowledge or experience of mindfulness, and you don’t need to hold any certain beliefs.  Absolutely anyone at King’s is welcome to join in.  Mindfulness isn’t a ‘religious practice,’ although many consider it to be spiritual in some way.  Whatever your beliefs, there is plenty of evidence to suggest that mindfulness is good for us – body, mind and soul.

Mindfulness is, quite simply, conscious awareness. It’s paying attention to whatever thoughts, feelings and emotions are flowing through your mind, body and breath without judging or criticising them in any way. It is being fully aware of whatever is happening in the present moment without being trapped in the past or worrying about the future. It’s living in the moment.

NOTE: There will be no session on the 23rd April.

***To join the session online, please either click on the 'Online' text under the heading/date/time on this page, or on the 'Go to this event' button to the right, and you will be taken directly to the Microsoft Teams meeting***
