Preview screening + Q&A with filmmaker

A film by Tammy Cheung

78 Min / In Ukrainian, Spanish with English Subtitles

Depicting life in the shadow of war in Lviv, a beautiful ancient city in western Ukraine, the film shows how all aspects of society and all citizens have been forever affected.

Tammy Cheung is a Hong Kong documentary filmmaker now based in the UK. She and her partner, Augustine Lam, have produced more than a dozen films, that include Secondary School, Rice Distribution and July.

Most of the films focus on social issues: education, elderly welfare and democracy. In the tradition of Direct Cinema, most of the films do not employ voice over or interviews.

This event is hosted by the Department of Film Studies at King's and Un.Censor.Ing Cultural Heritage Network.
