As part of Africa Week, the Africa Research Group is delighted to link-up live with young artists in Freetown, Sierra Leone, for a series of spoken word and musical performances.

The performers are based at WAYout, a group that seeks to change the lives of street, vulnerable and conflict affected young people through the arts. The event will feature performances by Moses (video), Gazbee (video), Mash P (video) and others, as well as a discussion with Mohamed S. Kamara about his recent research with Dr Kieran Mitton (KCL) and his own experiences of learning about documentary-making at WAYout.

The event is free and open to all.

Please register via Zoom, the joining link will be sent via email.
