This session with Ronaldo Christofolleti will cover his experience in academic collaboration between Brazil and the UK, from project conception to implementation. Ronaldo will also share the results and impact generated by said partnerships, as is the case with Maré de Ciência, a project in Brazil that aims to strengthen connections between university, schools and society, through a “Citizen Science” perspective.
Presenter bio
Professor Ronaldo Christofoletti is an enthusiast of science, education and co-construction processes to promote a better society. He is a Professor at the Federal University of São Paulo, coordinator of the Maré de Ciência Program, trainer of the British Council's Core Skills, Active Citizens and Researcher Connect Programs and a member of the UNESCO Advisory Committee on Communication for the Ocean.
