You will learn about the origin of the Gayageum, see the way it is played and hear traditional musical scales being performed. You will then receive basic instruction and be given the chance to learn how to play the Gayageum yourselves.

This free workshop is co-organised by the Language Centre, King's College London, and is supported by the Korean Cultural Centre, UK. This workshop is suitable for students of all levels, including those with no prior knowledge of Korean, or music!
