King's Festival of Artificial Intelligence Opening Panel Livestream
In the context of the UK's ambitions to harness AI for economic growth and to transform public services, the panel explores the incredible potential of AI to benefit our society, and asks how innovation should be responsibly deployed, and how the impact of these technologies across sectors might risk creating or worsening inequalities. How should policymakers respond to this and what might the opportunities be to make AI work for all, more equally, in the future?
Confirmed panellists include:
- Hetan Shah, Chief Executive of the British Academy and the chair of Our World in Data
- Dr Nessa Keddo, Senior Lecturer in Culture, Media and Creative Industries (Global Majority Identities) in the Faculty of Arts & Humanities, King’s College London
- Robin Carpenter, Head of AI Governance and Policy at Newton’s Tree
- Professor Elisabeth Kelan, Professor of Leadership and Organisation at King's Business School, King’s College London
In-person attendance is limited to invited attendees only due to the venue capacity. Sign up on Eventbrite for access to the livestream.
