This three-day workshop will focus on recent advances in mathematical general relativity (GR). This field has a history of major advances driven by the interplay between mathematics, numerics and theoretical physics communities. We aim to build on this past success by bringing together researchers studying general relativity from different angles, with talks in analysis and nonlinear PDE theory, differential geometry, mathematical physics and numerical relativity. Given the interdisciplinary nature of the workshop, the goal is for talks to be at an accessible level for graduate students. There will also be a poster session for junior researchers and students.
Organisers: Katy Clough (QMUL) and Zoe Wyatt (King's College London)
Location: Queen Mary University of London and De Morgan House (LMS)
Confirmed speakers:
Claudia de Rham (Imperial College), Pau Figueras (QMUL), Mahir Hadžić (UCL), James Lucietti (Edinburgh), Mariem Magdy Ali Mohamed (QMUL), Simon Salamon (King's College London), Jan Sbierski (Edinburgh), Ali Seraj (QMUL), Arick Shao (QMUL), Martin Taylor (Imperial College), Qian Wang (Oxford)*, Toby Wiseman (Imperial)
