Keeping AI Honest with Transparent Design
Artificial intelligence is seemingly everywhere. And so many bots look, sound, and act like us! From customer service, therapy, and podcast host bots to all-purpose tools like ChatGPT and AI companions that people fall in love with, human-like AI is a growing trend. While this technology has great utility, it also presents many risks.
This talk will explore some of the main concerns and explain how we can manage them through the right approach to AI design—an approach that emphasises transparency.
You do not need any prior knowledge of AI to enjoy this event. However, it may be of particular interest to those working in the responsible technology space, from entrepreneurs to professionals in education and medicine, as well as policymakers and ethicists concerned with AI’s societal implications.
