King's Climate & Sustainability (KCS) is pleased to invite you to a lunchtime networking session for those interested in climate extremes and health research. This was requested at a workshop we ran in July and we would like to continue the discussions and initiate new connections for those who were unable to attend.
Intended for those interested in research responses to the health impacts of climate change and its downstream consequences in the UK and globally, this event provides an opportunity to meet others from across King's and listen to short talks about their work and interests. A light lunch will be provided.
Would you like to present during the event? The event will include short talks from King's academics on their research or research ideas related to this topic; please email valeria.laochouk@kcl.ac.uk to express interest in presenting. Talks last no more than 2-3 minutes.
Please note that we will be following up on specific ideas from the workshop, and funding opportunities, alongside this informal and open session. The new opportunities for research into decarbonising health services and technologies are also being disseminated separately.
This event is internal to King's only. If you are external and are interested in attending, please email valeria.laochouk@kcl.ac.uk.
