The event is open to all King's students, staff, alumni and externals. It will be hosted online. You do not need any prior knowledge of AI to enjoy this event.

Speakers

Gregory Verghese: Co-founder & CTO of PharosAI and Research Associate at King's College London in the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine. PharosAI were recently awarded £18.9million in funding from the UK government to accelerate AI-powered cancer care. 

Claire Zhang: VC Associate and Analyst at Playfair Capital, passionate about finding and scaling the tech companies of tomorrow. Areas of interest include Femtech, mobility and B2B SaaS. Claire focuses on deal sourcing and the initial stages of the investment process. 

Sundar Arvind: CEO & Co-founder at Stealth (AI in music production). Ex-CEO and Co-founder at Blitzo (£1.3 ARR), King's alumnus (Computer Science, 2024).

Chair: Dr Yotam Levy leads investor relations at the Entrepreneurship Institute, King’s College London, where he supports the King's Start-up Accelerator's portfolio companies and the spinout companies coming out of King's. Yotam is a graduate of King's (BSc and PhD). 

King's Festival of Artificial Intelligence

This event is part of the King’s Festival of Artificial Intelligence. Running from Tuesday 20 May to Saturday 24 May, the free, five-day festival brings together a diverse line-up of experts to consider critical questions about artificial intelligence in the context of healthcare, education, sustainability, policy, and creativity.
