You are warmly invited to join the King’s Business School Meaning and Purpose Network round-table discussion focused on the question: how can organisational purpose add any value?
We hear a great deal about the need for an overarching purpose to guide organisational activity, but what evidence is there that purpose actually makes a difference? Katie Bailey will present some of the evidence around purpose, and Olympic performance psychologist Kate Goodger will discuss the experiences of construction firm Laing O’Rourke in developing and mobilising a sense of purpose among their workforce. After lunch, there will be a round-table debate and the opportunity to share thoughts and best practice.
