The Research Centre in International Relations (RCIR) at King’s College London and the Embassy of Colombia to the United Kingdom invite you to join a conversation about peace processes on the 9th of October 2024 at 16:00 hrs. The panel will include members of the Colombian Congress, delegates of the peace process with the National Liberation Army (Ejército de Liberación Nacional) and scholars of peace.

This panel discussion will consider the achievements and challenges of the ongoing peace processes in Colombia and their similarities and differences with other processes, including the Northern Ireland Peace Process. The event will also focus on methodologies and strategies of peace and will analyse the challenge of implementation in peace agreements.
