On the 6th of March, we will be in the WEC reception from 12 - 3pm raising money to buy the essentials to keep the Community Garden running and also continue to organise social & educational events.

You can join us in person or you can donate online via our collectionpot (open until the 13th of March).

So, what is the fundraising event?

This year we are doing a fundraising raffle and seed swap.

For the seed swap: We are asking for anyone to bring in any plants, saplings, seeds, etc. with the opportunity to either donate them to the garden or swap them!

The Community Garden will have on offer plenty of seeds and saplings to swap or purchase outright - prices will be set on the day so come down early for a steal.

For the raffle: We have received donations from local businesses and a bake from the reigning best baker at Denmark Hill!! To be in with a chance of winning one of our prizes, buy a raffle ticket for £4.

You can purchase multiple, and you can purchase tickets for other people.

Potential prizes:

• A brownie tray from DENMARK HILL'S BEST BAKER 2 YEARS IN A ROW! Chen Liang
• A GORGEOUS indoor plant from Nunhead Gardeners
• £10 voucher to Peckham Theatre
• £10 voucher for TOAD Bakery
• Free drink voucher at The Sun in Camberwell.

Can I buy a raffle ticket if I don't work at Denmark Hill?

Yes! The Community Garden (and all of our events unless specified elsewhere) is open to all King's community, staff, students and contract workers. We will endeavour to get any prizes across campuses to you if needed.
