Messages from their working conditions - Professor Pia Tham (University of Gävle, Sweden)

Professor Tham will discuss the findings of research involving 305 social workers split into three groups labelled ‘healthy’, ‘sick’ and ‘average’. Significant differences were found in how these groups described their working conditions and how these relate to psychological health and well-being. Professor Tham will then reflect on the implications of these findings for the quality of work in these groups.
