Co-hosted by ICSR and the Program on Extremism at The George Washington University (PoE) in association with the Global Coalition’s Counter Daesh Communications Cell at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, this event marks a decade since the rise and defeat of ISIS. It will comprehensively reflect on the strategies and challenges encountered in counterterrorism efforts, focusing on the Coalition’s efforts in combating terrorism in the past decade.

Key experts, including policymakers, academics, and military leaders, will discuss the successes of the past decade, assess the evolving threat landscape, and explore future strategies to prevent the resurgence of extremist movements. This convening will also emphasise the critical role of academic research in shaping effective counterterrorism policies.

Registrants will receive an email with room details once their place is confirmed.
