Harm, Prevention and Redress: Combatting Deepfake Abuse Impacting Black Women
This discussion will focus on research gaps, and insights, of the impact of AI-generated intimate image abuse on Black women. In conversation with Dr Kũi Kihoro Mackay (BRK Ujima) and Gabriela de Oliveira (Glitch) we will explore opportunities for targeted research, what prevention and redress can look like, and the legislative changes we want to see. Join us if you are interested in the intersection of AI, gender-based violence and misogynoir.
You do not need any prior knowledge of AI to enjoy this event. We encourage anyone who is interested in intersectionality research and/or policy to attend.
This festival event is a collaboration between the King’s Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Glitch.
