The event, Global Breakdown in the wake of COID-19? A shared politics of human and environmental crises, takes place on 4 May at the University of Greenwich and will feature speakers from the network.

LPEN is part of the Department of European and International Studies at King’s and aims to foster cross-university exchange and networking between London-based political economy research centres.

Dr Joseph Baines, senior lecturer in international political economy at King’s, will be among speakers at the event on 4 May which will bring together those working in cognate areas of ‘crises’ whether human and environmental in the wake of the pandemic.

There will be both in-person and online attendance options.
