Professor Daniel J. Müller will talk about genetic testing to predict the outcome of treatment with antidepressants and antipsychotics, and he will explain how pharmacogenetics offers a means to identify genetic biomarkers that can predict individual susceptibility to antidepressant- and antipsychotic-induced adverse effects such as metabolic dysregulation, extrapyramidal symptoms, and tardive dyskinesia.
