Translational Academy Workshop: From Industry Partnerships to Intellectual Property

This workshop, the third of our Translational Academy series, presents how to engage with industry or external partners, explores the different benefits and challenges involved, and why you should consider partnering with industry to advance the impact of your research.

We will also go through the processes in place at King's for:

  • intellectual property and patenting,
  • what is meant by the term 'freedom to operate',
  • and the new IP Code of Practice at King's and how it supports commercialisation and spinning out.

The workshop will be delivered by members of the Translational Research Office, the Industry Partnership and the IP& Licensing teams who have a wealth of experience supporting King's researchers.
