What is the generative potential of thinking across the domains of art, feminist science and technology studies, and cardiovascular science?
Careful Whisper collaborators Prof Anne Pollock (Global Health and Social Medicine, King’s College London) and Prof Nina Wakeford (Art, Goldsmiths) will be in conversation about with Prof Sue Brain (Cardiovascular Sciences and Medicine, King’s College London) about the generative potential of thinking together across these divergent domains.
This will be an opportunity to engage within the Takeover Space of Science Gallery London, where an installation is currently installed that juxtaposes sounds of laboratory science and wall text of feminist theory, to reflect on the potential value of these kinds of creative interventions -- for art, for feminist theory, and for cardiovascular science.
This event will take place in Science Gallery London's Takeover Space, on the ground floor of the gallery.
Join Careful Whisper collaborators in an informal dialogue across art, feminist science and technology studies, and cardiovascular science.
