Has Rishi Sunak managed to navigate British politics through choppy waters or is there more turmoil to come in the next 12 months?

To take a closer look at what happened in 2022 and what we can expect from the new prime minister in the year ahead, the Department of European and International Studies will be hosting an event featuring academic experts from across the department.

Back on Track or Off the Rails? British Politics under Rishi Sunak will take place on 9 March, from 18.00 – 19.30, at King’s and is set to feature Dr Lucia Pradella, Dr Lee Savage, Dr Christopher Holmes, and Dr John Narayan, with Dr Marianna Griffini as chair.

The event is part of a series taking place to mark the 30th anniversary celebrations of the department, which began life in 1992. You can find out more here.

The event will be followed by a reception.
