Join us for our first CogStack Artificial Intelligence and Genomics Network of Excellence in AI Showcase. This exciting event will bring together top experts in genomics and Artificial Intelligence from healthcare, academia and industry. They will share their latest work and insights into this fast-evolving field.

Programme

Artificial Intelligence, Clinical NLP, and Engineering for Health Informatics
Researchers and healthcare professionals will discuss how to extract valuable information from unstructured clinical texts in electronic health records. They will explore AI and machine learning approaches in genomics research and show how clinical data management tools can impact real-world applications. The session will also address crucial aspects of safe and ethical deployment of these technologies.

Industry Roundtable
Learn how global life sciences and healthtech innovators are using AI to improve clinical research and patient outcomes. Understand the challenges they still face and explore how the UK health sector can work with these organisations to enhance healthcare opportunities.

Artificial Intelligence in Medicine
Discover new AI technologies and applications that support clinicians and improve patient care and outcomes across a variety domains and specialties.

Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement
Leaders of patient representation groups will talk about the transformative potential of involving patients and the public in AI applications. They will discuss the issues involved in translating these tools into clinical practice.

Accessing the venue

The symposium will be held on the King’s College Hospital campus at Denmark Hill, in the stunning contemporary surroundings of the Fetal Medicine Research Institute. This has a purpose-built lecture theatre and is conveniently located just next to Denmark Hill station at 16-20 Windsor Walk, London, SE5 8BB.
