Come and learn why some of Antoni Gaudí’s most characteristic stylistic features constantly reappear in later cultural expressions from the Catalan speaking regions – whether in the paintings of Joan Miró or Salvador Dalí, or in the lyrics of rap and indie bands from Valencia and the Balearic Islands.

The song ‘Islas Baleares’ (2011) by the Majorcan band Antònia Font (an English translation will be provided) will be distributed to groups that will discuss whether it is possible to reinterpret Modern Catalan Culture considering Gaudí’s iconic architectural style.

This workshop will be delivered in English.
