This lightning presentation will explore how AI-driven innovations are tackling accessibility, assessment quality, and personalized learning, with a focus on qVault.ai, an AI powered educational platform that is reshaping medical education. qVault.ai was developed to bridge critical gaps in learning by providing AI-generated Single Best Answer questions, intelligent chatbots, and AI-driven case study generation, offering students and educators high-quality, curriculum-aligned resources that enhance efficiency and engagement. Designed with adaptability in mind, the platform ensures students receive personalised, exam-standard learning materials while allowing educators to track progress and improve teaching strategies.

Huinan Zeng and Amin Ech-Chadli: Kai (King’s AI): A GenAI-powered assistant for university students.

This lightning presentation will showcase a demo of Kai, a GenAI-powered assistant designed to improve access to information and support for both students and staff, and share insights from a pilot study of Kai exploring how AI can enhance the university experience. Key findings will be presented on AI use cases, benefits, limitations, and perceptions within higher education, drawing on staff feedback from across King’s.
