In this online event, Professor Sebastien Ourselin, Head of the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences at King’s and AI Centre Deputy Director will introduce the AI Centre for Value Based Healthcare and its work. Following this, Haris Shuaib, AI Transformation Lead at the AI Centre, based at King’s College London and Guy’s and St. Thomas’, will give a demo of AIDE (AI Deployment Engine) and answer your questions.
AIDE has the potential to revolutionise the way that AI algorithms are deployed in NHS hospital trusts. AIDE allows healthcare providers to deploy AI models safely, effectively and efficiently by enabling the integration of AI models into clinical workflows. AIDE also provides opportunities for data scientists to deploy applications in hospital settings for the purposes of research. In September this year, AIDE was installed in King’s College Hospital. By September 2023, AIDE will be rolled out and operational across 10 NHS hospital trusts, including all major London hospitals.
Attend this seminar to hear directly from AIDE’s product owner about the technology itself; and the capabilities of other AI platforms being developed by the AI Centre and how you can contribute. If you are an AI developer with an interest in healthcare or a clinician working with developers on a model, we would love to hear from you.
