Join us for the opening of the fourth Shakespeare and Race Festival, which marks the launch of a new research collaboration between Shakespeare’s Globe and King’s College London: The Shakespeare Centre London.

The Folger Shakespeare Library will mark the 400th Anniversary of the First Folio with a year of activities that culminate in the opening of a new exhibition gallery with the entire First Folio collection displayed for the public.

Alongside this exciting opportunity, a newly commissioned play centred on communities in Washington DC will speak to memory, what we save, and what we lose. Get an unmissable glimpse at the new play and exhibition in this unique collaboration between Shakespeare’s Globe and the Folger Shakespeare Library.

This sneak peek will be brought to you exclusively as part of Shakespeare and Race Festival 2022 by Greg Prickman, director of Collections, co-writers Malik Work and the Folger Theatre’s new artistic director Karen Ann Daniels, director Devin Haqq, and Globe actors.
