Working to provide students with the digital skills required to live, learn, and work in today’s digital society. CTEL create learning resources to help students successfully use King’s core and recommended technologies. We lead the student Essential Digital Skills programme, which was developed using industry digital competency frameworks. The programme provides King’s students with a bespoke and contextualised training that aims to:
- Ensure all King’s students are proficient in using IT systems to support their academic development.
- Ensure students are aware of key services, systems and processes that are available to support their academic, professional, and personal development.
- Ensure students feel confident in using technology to support their learning and development throughout their time at King’s.
- Ensure all King’s students are digitally literate to meet employability requirement.
- Raise awareness about the importance of digital capabilities and ensure students can reflect on their digital capabilities throughout their study.
