Your motivation to take part
I wanted to take part in Venture Crawl because I've always had an enthusiasm for entrepreneurship - I started a company with my friends and wished to gain more information on opportunities.
Your goals for the day
I hoped to explore funding opportunities that are available for student start-ups and I gained the information I needed, through learning about projects at Red Bull UK and Santander.
Your Venture Crawl highlight
The highlight of the day was definitely visiting Red Bull UK and hearing from some of the team. They provided intriguing insight into Red Bull's marketing strategy and funding opportunities, including Red Bull Basement. I learnt the importance of relating your entrepreneurial project to greater problems in society.
Your advice for future Venture Crawl participants
Fully connect with other participants on the day, as I found the opinions and ideas of others extremely helpful and interesting.
Venture Crawl in one word...
Connection - for the opportunities provided to connect with other interesting minds.
