Inman Charity Undergraduate Dental Research Fellowships
We are seeking applications for the Inman Charity Undergraduate Dental Research Awards. For 2018, we can prizes of up to £2000 each. Criteria and eligibility are as follows:
Eligibility: Open to all King’s College London undergraduate dental students who are planning to undertake intercalated research degrees.
Criteria: Students performing original dental or medical research with importance to “human health” who are interested in a long-term research career. Ideally, the research will contribute to a peer-reviewed publication. In addition, the research experience should be of clear benefit to the individual’s career progression.
Conditions: As a condition of the award, we ask intercalating students to write a blog post (for the DI website) on why you are intercalating and how this will help your career. At the end of the school year, we ask that you submit a copy of your thesis and a final blog post describing your experience as a research student and how this will help your clinical career.
Application procedure: Students should apply by submitting a letter of recommendation (from personal tutor or other suitable member of staff) describing the student’s career progression, research experience and proposed intercalated degree. All submissions will be assessed by a panel of academic staff.
