King's is working in partnership with our local London communities to improve access to education, support the development of thriving local economies, solve problems such as air pollution and health inequality and develop opportunities for creative collaboration. Our staff, students and alumni already work closely with local charities, schools and voluntary organisations and we know that these partnerships add value to research, education and to the communities around us.
Local partnershipsIt is King’s ambition to engage and work collaboratively in every region of the world through the development of equitable partnerships with like-minded institutions, membership in university networks, and engagement with key regional and national stakeholders. Our engagement with the world provides diverse and enriching educational experiences for our students, as well as fosters and supports joint research that addresses global challenges and contributes to the prosperity of local and global communities.
Research is core to King’s, what we do, what we care about and how we educate. It is how we channel our creativity to further knowledge and understanding, challenge convention and deliver impact. Collaboration is a key feature of research at King's, featuring local, national and international partnerships which facilitate pioneering research that crosses disciplines and changes paradigms.
