This was a £42m project to provide a state of the art new building for the Institute. It was built by the university together with its partner NHS Trusts, King’s College Hospital and the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust.
The Institute creates an environment that fosters collaboration between researchers across multiple disciplines, and enhance links between academic institutions and healthcare delivery, in order to translate basic research into clinical practice.
