Overseas students who will be studying in the UK for 6 months or less, can do so on a Standard Visitor visa or ETA (electronic travel authorization). Please click here for information.
Following payment of programme fees via the eStore, confirmation of their place will be sent out to applicants. This will be a digital confirmation/visa support letter showing they have secured a place to study at King’s College London, and this can be used as part of the application for a Standard Visitor visa.
We recommend that all students coming from overseas (including those not requiring a visa) show their confirmation/visa support letter along with their passport at UK immigration to ensure they enter the country correctly.

Travel to campus
You will need to arrange your own transfer from the airport to your housing.
All of London's airports are easily accessible by train, tube or taxi. Here are some suggestions, but there are plenty of options for all budgets for each airport:
London Heathrow
You can take Elizabeth Line of the London Underground from Heathrow Airport all the way into central London. It is the cheapest mode of transport from the airport.
If you don’t want to take the tube you can also book a ticket for the Heathrow Express. It takes 15 minutes and arrives at Paddington Station. Once here you can take public transport to your accommodation. Another cheap option would be to take a coach from the airport. National Express take you straight from Heathrow to Victoria Coach Station, which is in central London.
London Gatwick
If you want a train that takes you directly to Victoria Station, then the Gatwick Express is the option for you. You are also able to take a standard train to either Victoria, London Bridge or St Pancras. You can also take a coach from this airport, and it is one of the cheapest options.
London Stansted
From here you can take the Stansted Express straight to Liverpool Street Station, which roughly takes about 45 minutes. You are also able to take coaches from this airport. There are a number of different coach companies that you can book a ticket with, but please be aware that travel times will be longer than a train.
