Amazon Web Services and the Chris Martin Foundation Trust are offering studentships for 2024-25 to support students from underrepresented groups to progress to postgraduate study.

Amazon Web Services are offering two MA Government Studies studentships for 2024-25 to support students from underrepresented groups to progress to postgraduate study.

The Chris Martin Foundation Trust is also offering a studentship on the same criteria.

The scholarship(s) will be worth the same amount as the FT home student fee for the MA in Government Studies and available as a full contribution of tuition fees. Successful applicants are encouraged to be involved in the activities of the Policy Institute, for example attending events. There will also be further work experience opportunities, to be confirmed.

The deadline for submissions is 10  June 2024. Interviews will take place in the week commencing 17th June, with final decisions being sent to students on 21 June. The successful candidates will then be invited to apply for the MA in Government Studies.

Application process

  • Submission of personal statement which should demonstrate financial need and the impact receiving this bursary will have on them/their career and interest in British government and politics.

  • Shortlisted applicants will then be invited to interview, which will be conducted by a panel convened by the Policy Institute.
